RAM Polyurethane Shaping and Cutting Plant

RAM’s SFI EV is a polyurethane shaping plant state-of-the-art, designed as the perfect synthesis of ease-of-use and low operating costs, enabling it to cut complex profiles on rigid materials precisely.

During the design phase, special attention was paid to the end user. In fact, the use of this cutting machine is simple and intuitive, both in automatic and in the case of manual operations.

The software is compatible with the DXF format, and thus allows the use of pre-existing drawings.

Through the RAM Planner, templates can be captured or edited and production plans prepared through the creation of complex placements and precise cutting paths. The rotary-assisted work platform allows for a second (counter-formed) cut to meet the most complex and demanding applications.

Among other options, the machine can be equipped with a block crusher system, which extends its use to soft polyurethanes, and automatic loading and/or unloading systems, which further increase its productivity.

Suitable Materials for Cutting and Industrial Applications

The SFI EV is a polyurethane cutting plant that is particularly suitable for cutting of:

  • Rigid polyurethane blocks
  • Calcium-silicates
  • Rockwool (Rockwool) and cellular glass (Foamglas)
  • Expanded polyethylene and polystyrene
  • Agglomerates
  • PVC and Foamglas
  • Soft polyurethane
