With the integration of RAM Commander, then, it is possible to schedule each machining operation over time, choosing which of the connected machines will go on to cut each model. In essence, RAM Commander adds a time dimension to the simple creation of layouts and cutting paths. In doing so, it allows the production planner to define work shifts.

RAM Commander, therefore, is the perfect solution for structured realities where there is already interaction between those who decide what to produce and those who actually have to produce. In fact, its integration makes it possible to replace chaotic information management (e.g., any sheets of paper) with automated orders.

These are transmitted directly from the engineering department to the operator via the display console, located on board the machine. In this regard, the RAM Commander makes it possible to automatically activate the correct configuration of the machine according to the type of material (e.g., management of cutting speed, waiting times in corners, strategy of execution of arcs, use of the sponge presence detection sensor, etc.). In this way, all the operator has to do is to load the material onto the machine and start cutting. This greatly reduces any human errors in the shaping machine settings.
Then, once the cutting machine is finished, it will automatically send a communication to the production planner, again through the console. By doing so, the engineering department will be constantly updated and have a real-time view of the entire production.

In addition, for an even more comprehensive overview, RAM Commander collects data on each connected machine.

In fact, through careful analysis, it allows us to capture important performance indicators, and see if one of the machines is not saturated, or if more training is needed for a particular operator, etc. Finally, it also provides statistics and graphs on the number of blades used for each shaping machine, how long each blade lasts, and their average life.
